Math Classes

Students have the opportunity to advance and increase their confidence in math mastery. Students of elementary age can learn new methods and strategies to apply math by learning from the Singapore Math system. For our older students, we understand the great efforts and time students spend preparing for standardized college exams, and we provide support to our students in Grades 9-12 in ACT and SAT preparation.

The Singapore Math program at Minnesota Vietnamese Language School helps children in Grades 1-6 gain confidence in math and master key concepts to progress in more advanced topics in the future. Students learn to address problem solving, draw on a variety of math concepts, and apply different strategies. We hope students find more confidence and enthusiasm with math learning a different system compared to the U.S. system of math to further their depth of knowledge for the future.
Chương trình Toán Singapore tại Trường Việt Ngữ Minnesota giúp trẻ từ lớp 1 đến lớp 6 cảm thấy tự tin về môn toán và nắm vững các khái niệm then chốt để tiến tới các chủ đề nâng cao hơn trong tương lai. Học sinh học cách giải quyết vấn đề, rút ra nhiều khái niệm toán học khác nhau, và áp dụng các cách giải quyết khác nhau. Chúng tôi hy vọng rằng các em sẽ tìm thấy tự tin và hăng hái hơn khi học toán theo một hệ thống khác so với hệ thống toán của Hoa Kỳ để nâng cao kiến thức chuyên sâu cho tương lai.
The ACT Prep program at Minnesota Vietnamese Language School helps students in Grades 9-12 prepare for and gain the confidence to take on college standardized exams. Students review key concepts addressed across sections of standardized college exams, learn essential test-taking strategies, and practice relevant problems.
Chương trình ôn luyện ACT tại Trường Việt Ngữ Minnesota giúp học sinh từ lớp 9 đến lớp 12 chuẩn bị và cảm thấy tự tin bước vào các kỳ thi tiêu chuẩn đại học. Học sinh sẽ ôn lại các khái niệm chính được đề cập trong các phần của kỳ thi tiêu chuẩn đại học, học các chiến lược làm bài thi quan trọng, và thực hành các bài tập có liên quan.
